It's All Over Now, Baby Blue

Great Performances

While I was driving near Santa Cruz CA, the local station played a sensational live recording of the Grateful Dead performing Bob Dylan's It's All Over Now, Baby Blue during a concert on September 26, 1972 (35 years ago to the day) at the Stanley Theater in Jersey City, NJ.

I like this song, but I had never heard that particular performance before. So when I got home, I searched for it on YouTube. There I found many performances of the song, but not this one.

Eventually I found the 1972 concert (in streaming format only) in this Internet Archive.

The track I was looking for is #21, but Dead Heads may want to begin listening at #20 to hear the connected performance of Truckin', The Other One (jam), and Baby Blue. Or, more likely, just play the whole thing!
